Health Admonistrator

Globest Health City is Obesity, Nutrition/nutraceuticals, gym and Fitness, diabetes, cholesterol center of excellence. we operate at the highest International Standard. we are referral center for leading hospitals in Ghana and represent international nutraceutical companies.

The Health administrators make sure the health services operate efficiently and provide adequate care to clients. The responsibilities are numerous and sometimes require the assistance of the medical and support staff. Act as liaison between governing board, Health staff, and department heads and integrate the activities of all departments so they function as a whole. Following policies set by the governing board of trustees, the administrator plan, organize, direct, control and coordinate health services. Administrators recruit, hire, and sometimes train health consultants, Nutritionist, Exercise Scientists, Medical Doctors and assistant administrators. The administrator plan budgets and set rates for health services. The administrator will plan departmental activities, evaluate health consultants and other employees, create and maintain policies, help develop procedures for treatments, quality assurance, client services, and public relations activities such as active participation in fund-raising and community health planning. The administrator work long or irregular hours. Our services run from 5 am to 9 pm and the administrator may be called in at any hour to make decision and resolve dispute. The administrator also attend staff meetings, participate in health planning councils, go to fund-raising events, and travel to professional association conventions. The administrator’s job is difficult and demanding. Will need to keep up with advances in health, computerized diagnostic and treatment equipment, data processing technology, web consulting, government regulations, health insurance changes, and financing options. While Health consultants strive to keep the blood flowing and the heart beating, the health administrator is doing his job in keeping the hospital alive and healthy.
Salary levels are typically commensurate with education, professional credentials and experience; those holding advanced degrees often earn salaries at the top end of the range.

Minimum Education: Masters Degree

Qualifications: MBA in Health Administration or MBA holder with interest and experience in health administration.

BSc (health administration) with 8 to 10 years of working experience, with at least 5 years in senior management position
