Assist the finance manager in all financial matters
Report to the accountant/finance manager
Recording of business transactions
Implementation of finance policies
Depreciation of fixed assets
Preparation of payroll
Preparation of financial statements
Assist in the preparation of annual and semi-annual budgets
Maintenance of fixed assets register
Initiate payment of loan facilities approved
Preparation of bank reconciliation statements
Other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Min. Education: First Degree
Qualifications: TECHNICAL SKILLS, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in Accounting/Commerce or ACCA, ICA (Part 2) with one year working experience.
Knowledge in generally accepted accounting principles.
Experience with a financial institution will be an added advantage but not required
A high level of computer literacy, attention to detail and good inter personal communication skill is required.
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet/Email is required.
Experience with QuickBooks, and/or other accounting software desired.
Must possess a clean and valid drivers license
